Recovery is part of your life, not your whole identity
Recovery gets its own tools, for as long as you want them.
Sonavra is a private place to keep your days. Recovery tools sit beside your sleep, meals, movement and writing, so you can see the whole of a day, not only one number.
What you can do
- Record cravings.
- Notice triggers.
- Build replacement routines.
- Write about difficult days.
- Track the parts of life that help you move forward.
Recovery isn't one metric. Neither is your life.
The recovery tools
Each one is optional. Turn on what helps and leave the rest.
Sober days and the “since” line
A Sober habit sits at the top of Today as a morning check-in, with a plain line such as “Sober since June 17.” Starting again keeps this year’s sober days in view, because they still count.
Cravings and triggers
Note a craving, how strong it was and what was going on around it. Over time Progress shows when cravings tend to come and whether they are easing.
Replacement routines
Build the habits that take the place of the old one, such as a walk, a call or a few quiet minutes, and check them off on the day.
Counselling homework and worksheets
Keep what your counsellor or therapist gives you on Worksheets and homework. Homework stays on Today until it is done, and Before your appointment gathers what is open and what you finished, ready to read or print.
Recovery is built from thousands of ordinary decisions. Sonavra gives you a place to see them.
Some things should stay personal
Your journal stays in your account. It is not a public profile, it is not sold, and your writing is not used for ads.
If you need help now
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. In Canada or the US, call or text 988. This is a private notebook that nobody monitors, not a crisis service or clinic.
